All Preflight Profiles Empty, yet again!!!

Before any snide remarks about how this problem is already in the forums, please read:

 

  • My version of Acrobat is up to date
  • This problem is old, yet continues to re-appear
  • I don't have time to run through these forums and continuously uninstall/reinstall Acrobat to get to the same place, because I'm too busy remediating accessibility issues that Acrobat creates!

 

I know this problem is well over a year old. Adobe, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? 

 

Fix this problem for good! The worst thing you guys ever did was to go to a subscription model. When you turned out trash (and oh yes, Adobe has turned out tons of trash) at least we didn't have to buy it. Now, we're all stuck with the trash you're turning out on a regular basis. AGAIN, this problem is over a year old!!! Why do you think this is acceptable???

 

Whether you're a student or a publishing professional, we all have to deal consistently with these ridiculous problems that reappear and you don't solve, it's utterly infuriating!!! If any company deserves to be Blockbustered, its Adobe!!!

I'm following up to check if you are still experiencing this issue. We released an update in early August 2024. Please try installing it and let us know if that helps.

Hi Tariq,

No. Nothing has changed.

My company pushes updates and also we're free to update via Creative Cloud. I'm current with all Acrobat updates and am still missing all my Preflight profiles.

Same problem here. The "PDF-Standards" are empty.
