Getting this error message when opening certain PDFs,.

I've tried uninstalling, deleting all the app data under %appdata% re-installing adobe but the issue is still happening. checked for updates and still no luck.

I did try on a different computer and its working fine I can open the file from my account on another computer but when i try and open it under my computer I get that error message.

Any insights on how to resovle this issue?

I have had this problem constantly for about 2 months now.  When you see the file in finder, it shows the content.  When open in adobe acrobat pro, blank with the same error message.  When I open preview no problem.  I have not found a solution on the web.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

Also, try to recreate the PDF from the source file and see if that works.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20687 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works
