Application crashes when clicking on Electronic Signature tab

Please try updating the application to the latest version available. In Acrobat, go to Help > Check for updates. Check if that resolves the issue. You may also refer to the information on the latest update on the following help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html. 

If the issue still occurs, share the current Acrobat version on the machine.

@DorisSaga when I select the 'Add your signature or initials' tool in the tool bar, everything looks fine. Even if I select the 'Type Text' tool right above the 'Add yoursignature or initials' tool which is the E-Sign tab, does it still close on you? 

If the previous version worked for you, did you try 'Diable New Acrobat? Or re-installing the previous version to get over-the hump?
