I see now that Acrobat Pro 2020 has an End Of Life date of June, 2025. I am wondering if, because I did purchased the software already, will I then qualify for an upgrade/update at no charge? Please advise.

It means there will not be any updates after that date. There might be a new full version by that time, in which case you'll probably be eligible for a discounted upgrade price, based on past experience.

Thank you Try76,
To be honest, when I read the EOL data I panicked... I know 2 years away but EEK. LOL I should have thought about impending updates to bring the level of the current version along as the date grows closer. Out of panic mode., now ..... You've put an old retired lady who, loves Adobe Acrobat, mind at ease. I appreciate your response!! 🙂

If you don't want to be in the same situation in the future consider switching to a subscription instead of a perpetual license.

Excuse me? Please explain your comment... I'm not familiar with a "Perpetual License" and there is a Subscription? You've confused me... thanks 🙂

Acrobat comes in two license variations:
- A perpetual license, which you pay for once and can use "always". Of course, at a certain point this version becomes outdated and when it's past its End of Life date Adobe will no longer update it. The current release under this model is called Acrobat 2020.
- A subscription, which you pay for monthly or yearly. You get more frequent updates in this version and it keeps you up-to-date with OS updates, too. It also usually gets new features sooner than the other version. The current release under this model is called Acrobat DC.
