April 2024 update indexing problem

Since the April 2024 update when I build an index it rebuilds all files and not just new ones. Is there a fix for this? I'm using the 2024.002.20759 version and using Windows 11 64-bit.

Steps -

all tools>add search index>full tex index with catalog>open index>

I select my existing index and then select BUILD not rebuild. It indexes all files and not just the new ones like it did before the update.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and there was no change.
