Architectural drawing pdfs have sections greyed out.

When I open architectural drawings sections are greyed-out. Mostly it appears to be images and cloured elevations. Does anyone know how to fix this? I thought it may be a redaction setting.

Go to the application's Preferences - Page Display and tick "Show large images".
