Is it possible to get the Ask AI Assitant bar to stop popping up? Everytime I open an pdf, that bar pops up at the bottom, obscuring the text at the bottom that I need to look at. I'm reviewing a lot of documents and it is annoying me to have to stop and scroll up everytime because I can't figure out how to turn this off. The push of AI in Acrobat is very intrusive and annoying, and this little bar is the worst! You can only "turn it off for this session" and it comes back the next time you open a pdf.

Looks like I was able to answer my own question. I couldn't find an answer so I posted, then they had a "suggestion" and I clicked on it (where was that when I searched?). Anyway, it said go to the hamburger menu top left, hit preferences, choose Generative AI, and uncheck the "enable generative AI features in Acrobat". Mine was already unchecked, but there was another option that i DID uncheck - "show AI query bar on document". That did the trick!

Hello Susan!
I hope you are doing well, and we are sorry for the delayed response.
Here is the article to know more about disabling the GenAI feature in the Acrobat desktop app: https://adobe.ly/43Mp5Gi
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
