In classic Acrobat you could add an audio either by selecting a file or creating an audio by recording it direct into Acrobat from the comments section. In the new Acrobat the “record” an audio option seems to be missing. Is that feature still available? If so does anyone know where the Acrobat developers have chosen to hide it from the logical spot it was in the classic version (used to be next to “select audio”.

Hi @Robertlopez,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with recording audio in Acrobat.
A question: Instead of looking for the icon to record audio, have you tried using the keyboard accelerators?
When working with comments, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Shift+J" to record audio.

Let us know how it goes.

Done somehome work and can confirm now that Adobe have broken the option to record audio in the new acrobat. If you want to use the Acrobat record feature you need to roll back to classsic. To some extent it's an extension of a common problem with software that is the developer’s passion for moving things around in new versions even though they do the exactly the same function. I guess it keeps the dementia at bay as you hunt down where they have relocated the old buttons to. In this case you can actually see the old icon in an option area but it doesn't work in that you can't enable it
