Whenever I try to convert files in Adobe Acrobat Pro X from MS Word to pdf or combining files also from MS Word, it automatically sent to printer as well. File is converter but also left the screen message "Please wait, reading Adobe PDF" and it get stuck there. However, file will open in Acrobat Reader.

Is there a fix? How can I stop the auto print?

Hi Maricar

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the error message, "Please wait, reading Adobe PDF"

Please try the following steps and see if that works for you. Go to Edit > Preferences Reading > Under "Screen Reader Options" select "Only read the currently visible pages" and click OK.

Note : The steps shared are for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, It may or may not work with Adobe Acrobat X
