Autocad and Acrobat conflicts

I recently purchased a new computer with i9 intel,  Geforce TX3080.  128 GB memory, etc.  For some reason when I run Adobe Acrobat and Autocad at the same time I have all kinds of issues.  Both programs running together slow considerably, often becoming unusable.  I often have one freeze as I'm using it and need to shut programs down with control-alt-del.  Any ideas what might be causing this?

I'll also add that I have called Adobe help at least 4 times. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, ran cleaner, installed 32 version, etc.  Nothing has worked.  Or at least not for long.  It can sometimes improve the situation for a day or two before returning to the same problems.
