Is there a way in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to automatically recognize either a box or a line etc so that the fillable form you are creating automatically adds check boxes?
I know how to add individually but it takes a lot of time.
It looks like there used to be a "wizard" function in older versions of adobe, but can't find something that currently will perform this task
Any help is appreciated
Thanks, Alan

Export PDF for Electronic distribution from MS Word (365) to get Acrobat to automatically recognize a box as a check box. PDF for Print did not work for me.
I used used Webdings (c character - bold) on mac. Using Acrobat forms to automatically recognize a box to create check boxes now works for me
