I produce a magazine in InDesign in which some pages have a grey background tint (a simple grey-filled box under the text, with 3mm bleed all round). I've just noticed that when viewing the pdf in the latest version of Acrobat Pro that the grey tint does not show up. However, smaller grey tinted boxes do appear. I can't see anything under Preferences that fixes this, so presumably it is a bug? Has anyone else noticed this? It's going to be a big problem if I have to inform readers that they are advised to not use Acrobat as a pdf viewer to see the magazine properly. I'm on a Windows PC.

I've now seen a similar post 'No background showing in pdf' (I'm not sure how to add link) which solves this. Under Accessibility, unselect the first item 'Replace Document Colors'.
