I am trying to use a font for which I have created the font definition file, for use in a Visual Basic program I am writing.  I have got the file to work error free in the VB class script, but it reports a 'Bad BBox in Adobe Reader. It appears that one or more Glyph boundry boxes is incorrect.  How can I find where this error is and correct it?

I downloaded PDFCanOpener, but it will not work with Adobe Reader 9 and I can't afford to purchase The professional version.

Hi Tonyh,

As you get the error Bad BBox in the Adobe Reader application, there is nothing much can be done about that as the PDF is not created with Adobe PDF Maker.

Adobe Acrobat Reader helps you to view PDF. It does not create PDFs.

It seems that the font got corrupted while creating the PDF.

Please refer to this link what is a bad /BBox ?? (Scan and Optimize) with a similar issue for more details.

Let us know if you have any questions or need any help.

Meenakshi
