Batch Apply Redactions Across Multiple Files

I have several hundred files in a folder that have all been marked for redaction. I have searched high and low and I cannot find a way to apply these redactions and simply save over the original. Is there a way to do this without having to open each file?

P.S. I do not need to search, redact text, and apply across multiple files. All of my files have different information redacted. I simply need to apply the redactions marks that are saved.

You can use the Action Wizard in Acrobat Pro to do it. Create a new Action and add to it the Apply Redactions command, followed by a Save command, and then run it on your files. You can also select the folder, and it will process all the files within it. Just note it will also process all sub-folders (as well as convert all non-PDF files to PDFs).
The action should look like this:
Of course, this process is not reversible, so make sure you have a backup copy of the originals, just in case.

It seems that my Action Wizard doesn't allow a bulk redaction. Did you use any plug in?

Seems fine to me. When you run it, it will process all the files in the selected folder.
No plugins are used.

Your "Apply Redactions" is colorful, mine is grey and can't be editted. I don't manage to apply any redaction rule, What am I missing? 😞

That's just because of Adobe's re-design of the UI. It's the same command. This command doesn't create the redaction annotations for you, though. It just applies them.
To do that you can use the Search & Remove Text command, for use a script to add new Redaction annotations.
