bei Erzeugung von E-Rechnungen Fehlermeldung

Liebe Experten,

meine Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (Version 11.0.23) hat schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel. Bei der Erzeugung einer E-Rechnung aus einem Büroprogramm heraus, erscheint die Fehlermeldung 16. Am Büroprogramm liegt der Fehler definitiv nicht. IMit dem Acroba Reader funktioniert das. Ist mein Acorbat zu alt? Gibt es eine Lösung?

@rüdiger_9218 what does the error message say? Any screenshots? A picture can be worth a thousands words!

Vielen Dank für die schnelle Antwort. Anbei ein Screenshot. Aus dem Büroprogramm (WISO Mein Büro) wird eine E-Rechnung als PDF erzeugt (ZUGFeRD). Wie gesagt, mit dem Acrobat Reader als Standardprogramm funktioniert das, nur nicht mit dem Acrobat XI Pro.Unbenannt.png

Sorry for the delayed response. 

If the PDF generating solution is enabling support for new PDF versions and is likely to do so, then there might be a compatibility issue. Also, Acrobat XI Pro is an older version of Adobe Acrobat and reached the end of support in October 2017. This means it doesn’t receive updates or compatibility fixes for newer standards like ZUGFeRD 2.0 or above, which may cause errors or limited support when opening certain structured PDFs.

 

Either check with your invoice-generating Developers team to find out if anything has changed in the PDF structure side and ask for compatibility with Acrobat XI or check for the PDF/A issue for the file. Error 16 usually indicates the file is faulty. 

 

Acrobat and Reader render PDF/A files differently, which is why a file may open in Reader but not in Acrobat. If you have access to the latest build of Acrobat, you can test the file with the new build and draw a conclusion and narrow down options.
