Hallo dear forum members.
I often have to create and edit pdf documents in order to provide corresponding documentation for the construction of devices or modules in the area of network technology and I mainly work with the tools insert page, replace page and delete page and also have to create appropriate bookmarks for the individual pages. To create the bookmarks for the added pages I usually am using the corresponding button in the bookmarks view opened in the navigation window.
Unfortunately, when inserting or replacing pages, the page miniature view always opens, but I don't need it at all for editing. So I always have to reactivate the bookmark view again to be able to continue editing, which means a certain amount of extra work and admittedly really annoys me.
In earlier versions of the Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Professional software, this constant change to the page miniature view was not the case in my opinion.
I think I've searched all possible places and menus for appropriate setting options for the view and in particular, of course, for the navigation window by now, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know if this navigation pane behavior can be changed in any way?
With all the steps backwards with regard to the individual setup of the tools as well as the general ease of use and accessability of view options with the newer versions of the Acrobat software. So I would not really be surprised if the switching behavior of the navigation window view is not adjustable at all.
I would really appreciate any further information on my customizing problem.
Thies
