Hi 🙂 I need to bulk export a few hundred emails from Gmail as individual pdf files.
Exporting one by one is not an option for me due to a physical disability impacting my hands.
I have the full Adobe suite of products, and see mention of a "Gmail Backup Tool" but I cannot locate that tool, nor other methods.
I've searched online with no fruitful methods found. I prefer to not download 3rd party software, as the email content itself is sensitive.
Thank you for any help!

hank you, however, as I explicitly named in my post "I prefer to not download 3rd party software, as the email content itself is sensitive." therefore this solution will not work.

I was facing a similar issue and then I finally found out BitRecover Gmail Backup Software. I easily exported all the gmail emails to individual pdfs. You just need to download the tool, login with your Gmail id, select the folder and, pick PDF as the saving option. Then export it.

Hi there ,
I totally understand your situation, and thank you for sharing it. Exporting hundreds of Gmail emails one by one can be very difficult, especially with physical limitations.
Unfortunately, Gmail itself doesn’t offer a direct way to bulk export emails as separate PDF files, and even tools like Adobe Acrobat don’t support this directly from Gmail.
If you're concerned about using third-party tools due to sensitive content, the safest built-in option would be using Google Takeout. Here’s what you can do:
Option: Use Google Takeout (No third-party software)
Visit https://takeout.google.com
Select Mail (deselect all others if not needed)
Choose to export your emails
You’ll get an MBOX file containing all your emails
You can open this file using a free mail app like Thunderbird (just for viewing), and print to PDF from there if needed
However, I understand this still involves multiple steps. If at any point you're open to trying a tool that works offline, some Gmail backup tools like Advik Gmail to PDF Converter is trusted and allow you to save each email as a separate PDF file. But I completely respect your preference for not using third-party software.
