Button Action: Mouse Down to play sound only triggering once button is released

Noticing the play a sound action for mouse down listener does not activate on the actual mouse press, only once it is released.  I have it set correctly, there are other actions that do trigger on mouse down, anybody else had this problem?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

I tried the workflow and could reproduce this on my end. Would you mind sharing a few pieces of info for further investigation:

1. The app version of Acrobat you are using (go to Acrobat menu-> About Acrobat);

2. The OS details of your device;

3. A screen recording of what you observe;

4. A sample file where you see the issue for us to test in-house.

Also, please ensure you are on the latest version of the application (2024.005.20xxx) for the best experience.

Hello, thanks for the reply, I've included a zip file with my setup and the wav file.  I don't know how a screen recording will help given it's a click action so I didn't include but let me know if you need any other info.  Thanks for checking this out.

OS is Mac Ventura 13.7.1, Adobe Acrobat is current (2025.001.20476)
