Buy digital certificate to sign adobe pdfs, with third party verification

I have adobe. I need a digital certificate to sign drawings to send to permit office. in Washington DC, VA , MD. I bought cert from Sectigo, they say their certificates do not work on adobe pdfs for permit drawings. What service can i use? Sectigo is listed on Adobe website.
