I'm trying to switch to using Acrobat DC and only because Acrobat XI Pro (2016?) is rendering strangely in Mojave OS when exporting from InDesign 2019 (any box filled with Yellow doesn't render at all).
I rely heavily on the Default Folder add-on with Mac Open & Save dialogs to quickly navigate around all my project folders. Is it possible to bypass the DC Open dialog and go directly to Mac OS Open dialog?
I've searched Preferences but I can't find how to do this. I hope someone has an answer...
Yes, this is in preferences. But the option is the reverse of what you or I are looking for. Look under General for references to "Show online storage" and turn i off.
(Acrobat XI Pro is much older than 2016. It is past end of support and Apple have announced it will never run in Mac OS 10.15 or later).

OMG! Thank you so much.
Yes, I know version XI is ancient, but it worked up until Mohave and it had a simple interface that I liked. Onwards....

Thank You! Your tip resolved the problem in one click. This issue has been annoying for as long as I can remember; it always occured when rushing to complete a project and never had time to stop and seek a solution. The preference has separate check boxes for Opening and Closing so you need to uncheck both to go directly to system file-saving dialog.
