Out of the blue, I can no longer open a pdf when I do command+O. Even if I click on the file once, then click on 'open.' I am on a Macbook Air. But, if I go to 'finder' and click on the document, it will open.

What is going on? Any ideas? This was never a problem before. Thank you.

Hi @Jennifer24741853gll5

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue description that you are no longer able to open PDFs using the keyboad shortcut. Would you mind sharing a few more details to understand the issue better?

1. Is it happening with all PDFs or a specific one?

2. Mac version?

3. Application version?

Make sure that the app is updated to the latest version.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks,

Harsh

Hello,

1) all pdfs

2) yes Mac version. All updates have been checked.

3) apparently an update is needed but I cannot get it to update. It tells me I need to quit the application, so I close out Adobe and then nothing happens. It just sits at 'waiting for you to quiet these applications....'
