Up until last year, I was able to select a bullet point list (and the bullet points were included). It seems that now when I download a pdf with a bullet point list, it is NO LONGER able to select the points. WHY? What could the purpose of this be?
It is extremely important and valuable to be able to select bullet points and it's just....gone??
I will include screenshots showing an old version of a pdf where i was able to select the points.
And then the new version where I am unable to.
Does anyone know why this was removed or how to circumvent it? I NEED those bullet points. Having to go in and manually insert them is going to be a HUGE inconvenience and completely inefficient to any sort of workflow.
I don't even know how to word the problem to search for solutions to get around such a hideous change.
Please help!

Hi Shabenz4,
I have to admit I'm puzzled because in both of the screenshots you present, it sure looks like you've selected the text in the bullet-pointed text. So other than displaying a different text width, I'm not seeing what you describe.
For the sake of your concerns, there was NO removal of bullet-point selection. That ability to select text still remains. The question then is, "why are you unable to do it?"
Are you able to do it in ANY document, or are you unable to do it in every document? To further test this, please create your own PDF with some bullet points, convert that document into a PDF, and test that.
How are these "Property Highlights" documents created? Do you create them, or are they provided to you? Can you share one so someone else can test it?
Thanks for any help helping you.

Yes, I can select the text. What I CANNOT select, is the bullets.
In older documents I could. Now I no longer can. Something about a
headless renderer?
I've tried downloading these documents in ALL browsers and none of them
support selecting the bullet points. Again, we aren't talking about the
text. I'm talking about the LITERAL DOTS.

Did you generate this file? Maybe something changed in how it was created and the bullets are now images, not characters. If you could share a sample file that would be helpful.
Also, do not reply by email, as it posts your full contact details to the forum as a part of your signature footer. I've removed it from the reply above.
