Can not create pdf from other file format (print to pdf) - Acrobat Pro DC

I am not able to create pdf from other file formats. I can send print jobs to my physical printer, but when selecting 'print to pdf', the screen freezes and can only be unlocked by cancelling the job. 

I'm a MacBook user and have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC vers. 2022.002.20191 installed. 

I have tried following a 3-step guide I found on youtube, that supposedly should solve the issues, but with no luck. 

I recorded my own sceen in order to visualise the trouble I have.

Print to PDF in a browser has nothing to do with Acrobat. You could even do that when Acrobat is not installed. So the question rather goes to the browser (Mozilla?) support forum.
