Can not open files prompt “Do you want the following programs to make changes to this computer

I  have Windows 8 and    have downloaded and installed the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat. Each time   I click on a file I get dialog box po up from User Account Control.

“Do you  want the following  programs  to make changes to this computer

 click “yes”nothing  happens

Hi Marziya,

 

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As mentioned, you are getting the pop up from User Account Control.

“Do you want the following programs to make changes to this computer'' everytime you open the PDF file.

 

Please try the following steps a suggested below and see if that makes any difference:

1. Right click on the Adobe Acrobat icon on your desktop.

2. Go to Properties.

3. Under 'Compatibility' uncheck 'Run as administrator' > Click Apply > OK
