I just purchased my subscription for Adobe Pro DC this week and the subscription is showing up on my account.
I was unaware that I downloaded the CC version of Acrobat at first and started a free trial. When I would try to activate my subscription is kept prompting me to put in my serial number. The little info bubble said that the subscription service does not have a serial number and I need to download the correct one so I uninstalled CC and acrobat.
I went to my adobe account and downloaded the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from the link it gave me on my account page.
After downloading, it was still on the trial version and when I went to activate it it asked me to put in the serial number again.
I have uninstalled & reinstalled, logged in & logged out multiple times and nothing seems to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have tried these steps you have recommended 2x now and still I when I hit 'activate' on the trial this window appears:
I hit next,
I do as prompted, I sign out & sign back in. After I sign back in the following window opens:
When I click 'License This Software' it takes me to this page:
Which doesn't even make sense!! It prompts me to enter a SN but under that is says if I have a SN for Adobe Acrobat DC I would have to download a different version??? what is this even for?
This all very frustrating and I prepaid for an entire year of this service..
