Can't calculate field from checkboxes

Hi all,

I am not versed in Javascript at all, but I don't think it's necessary for what I'm trying to do. I have checkboxes that correlate with a dollar value, and when they are checked I want the sum of the values to appear in a calculated field.

I have set the checkbox export value to the associated dollar price (e.g. if a checkbox is worth $50, I put 50 in the export value). 

Then I went to my caluclated field and set the format to Number. The problem is when I go to "Cacluclate", and select "Value is the sum of the following fields" and pick my checkboxes. Nothing happens. It instantly reverts to no selections.

What am I doing wrong?? I've attached a pared down version of the PDF with the fields in question.

There are no checkboxes picked in total field.

Try to pick them again and make sure to click 'Ok' and check that their name show in the small window.

I tested it, and it was working fine for me.

I've just tried it again (Properties > Calculate > Pick (then select the three checkboxes) and hit okay. It reverts to having nothing selected. I hit "Okay" and it goes back to having nothing picked.

It might be easier to show the issue than describe! Am I missing a step?

It's probably a bug.

Try to recreate new file and test it.

You can also try to use simplified field notation or custom calculation script instead.
