Can't drag signature into PDF

I am using Acrobat Pro DC Version 2022.002.20191 on a Mac. For the past couple of months, when I use Fill & Sign, Request E-Signatures, and attempt to drag the Signature field to the document, I can drag it an inch or two and then it keeps popping back to the starting point of where I started dragging from. It takes 3 or 4 tries until it works. Anyone else having this problem or figured out a fix?

Go to View - Show/Hide - Rulers&Grids and tick off "Snap to Grid".
