Can't Edit Font/Text - Acrobat 9 Pro

I've searched multiple posts but could not get it solved. Any help is appreciated.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended.

  • I'm trying to change the font on a PDF file but I get "The change to a different font was not done because the chosen font and the font encodings in the document differ and could not be resolved."
  • If I try to edit the text, I get "All or part of the selection has no available system font. You cannot add or delete text using the currently selected font."

Took a screen shot of the TouchUp properties. I do have "Verdana" available, but not this "Verdana+0".

Any ideas

You won't be able to edit the text (not even if you upgrade). Suggest you create replacement text instead - maybe you can delete the whole original text box and make it again.

I tried. I can't delete the text box. It's all one whole thing grouped. I tried exporting it into an .rtf, similar error message appears. I was hoping an upgrade can fix it but doesn't look like it.

Would trying to edit it on a Mac make a difference?
