Hello everybody
I wonder whether someone can help me with the following.
I am trying to install Acrobat DC on a Mac mini 6,2 running OSX 10.14.6.
This is my first installation of the suite on this computer since I installed the CS4 version (I have already successfully installed the suite, including Acrobat DC, on my first computer). InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are already installed on the Mac mini and run smoothly.
The problem with installing Acrobat DC is that the installer, after reaching around 40% of the process, displays a message in Italian that roughly says “Expanding, waiting”, then, almost instantly, sends me a desktop notification saying that the installation is complete.
After that the Cloud software immediately displays the “Install” button to the right of the Acrobat icon, as if nothing had been done, and I cannot locate any files or folders related to Acrobat DC.
I also tried installing Acrobat DC using an aam:// link suggested by an Adobe support page, but my browsers can't process it.
Both OSX and the browsers are up to date. There is plenty of room on the hard disk and I check it for boot hardware and file system problems.
After the Acrobat DC failure I successfully installed other programs from the suite.
Thanks a lot for your attention!

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.
Please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once, and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
Regards
Amal

Hello Amal
Thanks so much for your help!
The Cleaner tool didn’t work (I had to force quit it), but probably, in my case, there was nothing to remove in the first place.
On the contrary, installing Acrobat DC was a breeze and the software now runs on my Mac mini with no problems.
