I've cleared my cache and restarted my laptop all to no effect.
Can anyone help please? (Note: I'm not a technical wiz).
Please confirm the Adobe Acrobat version you have been trying to reinstall? Also, do you get this message "it says that I am logged in and I can close the window" when you try to reinstall the application or when trying to open the PDF?
We assume its Acrobat DC, so try this before reinstalling the app:
Acrobat DC is now installed on my laptop again, but every time I open a pdf a white blank window pops up obscuring the document. This was the issue that prompted me to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat in the first place.
