Can't Scroll Zoom when Acrobat is not the active window

New Here ,
Mar 22, 2022 Mar 22, 2022

So Windows 10 has a feature that allows you to ctrl+scroll wheel to Zoom in and out of windows that you are hovering your mouse over and are not the active window, but for some reason I can't get this feature to work with Acrobat Pro DC. What's more annoying is that this feature is also available on Mac and works perfectly fine there. the only time I can get it to work is if I reinstall acrobat and open it for the first time. once I close that session of acrobat the feature is unavailable. Not sure what is going on but any info that anyone has on this would be very appreciated. thanks!

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20085 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, check for any missing/pending updates for Win OS and try updating it and check.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and check for the issue.

Regards

Amal
