Can't stop Adobe Acrobat from opening at start on PC Windows 11

Community Beginner ,

Recently (within the past week), Adobe Acrobat DC is opening when I start my computer (PC Windows 11 Pro version 24H2). I'll exit the program and a few minutes later it will open up again. This usually continues for 3 or 4 times and then it stops doing it.

I've checked the Task Manager to make sure it's turned off at start up. I'm not sure if there is an option or something within Adobe to stop this from happening that I've simply missed. It's also odd that it just now started doing this -- I've had the app on my computer for years.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi cat96639295,

Thank you for reaching out and reporting this. We are sorry about the trouble caused.

Please confirm if you are using the latest version of Acrobat. Share the Acrobat version number currently in use. Ensure that you are using the latest version of the application. In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Check for updates.

If possible, please share the screen recording of what happens and how the application appears when launching automatically.

Try collecting logs for the issue using the diagnostic tool and share the log ID.

We will get it checked.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
