Can't stop Zip Files containing PDF's opening in Edge

A colleagues PC receives many PDF's from links sent in email 

The link now opens in Edge only whereas before it just prompted a save of the zip file containing the PDF's to the default destination on the PC.

It's workable but would rather it was not enabled to open in Edge

We only use Chrome so there are no extensions enabled in Edge

Anyone ?
