Can we create bookmarks & hyperlinks in Adobe Acrobat DC like MS Word and create linkable texts?

Can we create bookmarks and hyperlinks in Adobe Acrobat DC like we can do in MS Word and create linkable texts?

I know a workaround is to create the same in MS Word and convert it to a PDF, but I need to necessarily do it within Adobe PDF itself.

I read up on something called “Destination Marker” if I remember it correctly, but I don't find it.

Tried searching for this [1] but did not find in my Adobe Acrobat DC desktop app.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any forthcoming ones.
