Just opened Acrobat and found it looks different. Tools on left instead of right, visual changes. Worst of all, the "Add Text", which used to allow me to just select anywhere on the pdf and start typing to add text, doesn't work anymore. It now starts inserting text and moving around lines and existing text on the pdf, the say way that "Edit" would on previous versions unless I specifically selected "Add Text", which I have done and have selected on this new version.
How do you just add text now give that "Add Text" doesn't actually work anymore?

Could you please explain the problem with screenshots? What is your OS and version? What is your Acrobat and version?
(To get back to the old user interface: Hamburger menu on the Windows PC, View menu on the macOS, "Disable new Acrobat")
