Cannot combine multiple PDF's into one continuous PDF

Everytime I try and combine multiple page PDF's into one seamless PDF it seems to save as separate pdfs still. It makes no sense bc its worked fine for all time and now suddenly today since the new update it won't make multi-page PDf's into one seamless PDF. I do this all day every day without issue but not today. What am I doing wrong? Is it a setting I am missing? Help...me......

nevermind! I found it was the PDF Portfolio setting checked in options WHICH I HAVE NEVER HAD CHECKED.. but whatever... fixed.
