On a work computer windows 10 I was working on a school paper, the only way it would let me print the documents was to if save PDF files to desktop. There are three that I cannot delete. They all three have a long folder name. When I try to open the file acrobat opens and says path not found or doesnt exist. I have tried to edit the name but no luck. Any help much appreciated.

This is an OS issue. Just because it is a PDF file does not mean that there is a special treatment to apply.

Hi LoriSusan,
Thank you for reaching out.
Please confirm if you are experiencing issues opening or deleting PDFs from the desktop.
If you cannot remove the files from the desktop, try rebooting the machine once.
However, this does not seem to be an Adobe issue. This is file specific issue.

Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

maybe this will help you to fix the issue..because im also using the same method to fix it. You need to use Winrar to delete the file but make sure you press Shift+Del to delete the file instead manually click delete

This is an OS problem. Acrobat is not involved in this. It is an OS limitation.
