Cannot edit PDF to display content in Landscape

New Here ,
Jul 20, 2020 Jul 20, 2020

Hi all, I'm hoping you can help. I've read through the other posts about changing a PDF to Landscape mode but haven't been able to figure my issue out. I have Acrobat DC, and am creating a PDF from an existing Notepad file. I have attempted to Organize>Rotate the pages, and it changes the page layout to Landscape but rotates the content as well so that it displays sidways. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!

Hi sleonard

We are sorry for the trouble. As described on rotating the PDF to landscape the content of the PDF is also getting rotated.

This is the design behavior. When we rotate the PDF pages using the Organize Pages tool it will rotate the content of the page as well.

Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to create the PDF from the Notepad?

Please try to create the PDF from notepad as follows and see if that helps you in getting the PDF in landscape

  • Create and save the file in Notepad.
  • Go to 'File' menu in Notepad > Print > Select 'Adobe PDF' in the Printer list > Click  'Preferences' tab and go to 'Layout' > under 'Orientation' select Landscape > Click OK > Print > Save the PDF with the file name.

Hope it will help

Regards

Amal
