The message I receive after every so-called solution:
"ERROR: DW003: Third party payload installer Adobe Acrobat\Setup.exe failed with exit code: 1603"
I have gone as fas as removing all Adobe CC apps and using the Adobe Cleaner tools, and the problem remains. There doesn't seem to be an actual fix, many of the threads are from years ago.
I've wasted hours and hours on this. It's ridiculous. Any actual knowledge here would be greatly appreciated.

1603 is generic MSI error - we would need actual installer error.
I would suggest to enable verbose MSI logging (Google for instructions), run install again, collect latest MSIxxxx.log file from User Temp folder, zip it and send it to me in private message. If file is too big, please upload somewhere (Dropbox?) and provide link.
