Cannot locate "extract" selection

Community Beginner ,
Dec 22, 2023 Dec 22, 2023

I wish to extract one page from a document.  However, under the "Organize Pages" selection, I cannot locate the "Extract" choice.  I see "Insert," "Replace," and "Split."

I am not fluent with Adobe, so perhaps I missed this.  Please advise; thanks.

Try running a Repair Installation via the Help menu. Also, disable the new Acrobat UI if it's enabled, the Options menu.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Adobe keeps moving things around and renaming them, unfortunately... Try opening the Pages panel, then right-click the page and (hopefully) there should be an Extract Pages command there.

That does not work, either. There is "Edit a PDF," "Delete page," and "Combine files," but no "Extract."

Thanks for your reply.

In that case maybe the file is protected so that content extraction is not allowed.

What does it say under File - Properties - Security?

I disabled the new Acrobat UI; that was successful.  Thanks much!
