I am re-installing Adobe on a terminal server as administrator and now I cannot open it. My test user can open w/o issue but I would like to be able to open Adobe as the administrator to run updates.

Hi Verticomm
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to open the application and getting the error Event ID 1000
Please try to update the application to the latest version from the help menu and reboot the computer once and see if that works for you. Go to Help > Check for Updates.
You may also try downloading the patch file from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html and check.
Also, checkout the correct answer marked in the similar discussion https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/adobe-acrobat-event-id-1000/m-p/9724376 and see if that helps.
Regards
Amal
