Cannot open .xls file with macro from PDF file

Hi all,

Someone can tell me if this is already possible to open a .xls document with macro in a pdf file? I tried to attach the file, and a error message appears teeling that it will not be possible to open the file, there is anyway to get this possible?

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to open the .xls file with macros from PDF

 

This is an expected behavior. With the August 2018 release of Adobe Acrobat/Acrobat Reader (and later versions), the following office macro-enabled extensions are permanently blocked, and you will no longer be able to open the files:

  • MS Excel: .xlsm, .xlsb, .xlm, .xltm, .xla, .xlam,.xll
  • MS Word: .docm, .dotm, .docb
  • MS Power Point: .pptm, .potm, .ppam, .ppsm, .
