When I try to save to PDF/A in Acrobat Pro, the system reports that it needs to install components. It then informs me that I must perform the installation manually. After selecting manual installation, it reports that my location is incorrect and sends me to a page that ends with a 404 error.
Reinstalling did not help.
Does anyone have experience with this behavior and a solution?

@DrnyDC right off the bat, I think it's corrupted file. But, since you have already tried a 'reinstall,' it's a bigger issue with system files, permissions, or a corrupted installation data in a non-obvious location. You're not alone in experiencing these kinds of hiccups. People often find that deleting specific preference files or checking for conflicts with antivirus/firewall software can resolve these kinds of dependency issues when the standard repair or reinstall fails.

Thank you for your reply. Resetting Acrobat Preferences did not help. I will ask the network administrator to disable SentinelOne antivirus for a while. If that doesn't work, I guess I'll have to reinstall the entire computer.
