Cannot scan from Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Explorer ,
Feb 06, 2019 Feb 06, 2019

Running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2019.010.20069.  I select Create from scanner.  I select my scanner.  I click Scan.  I get the error message: "Please input some valid page dimensions."  The scan tab includes:

Scanner: And I have selected my PaperStream IP fi-7300NX scanner

Pages: Front Sides

Color Mode: Drop down is disabled.

Resoluton: Drop down is disabled.

Paper Size: Drop down is disabled, as is the Width and Height input fields.

Quality: Optimize Image

Output: Create New PDF

So the application is telling me to input page dimensions, but those fields are disabled, so I cannot enter page dimensions.

Why is is the application asking me for page dimensions but then not letting me enter them?

Until this is resolved, I cannot scan from Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

Hey mbamst,

Are you experiencing this error: "Please input some valid page dimensions." with all the documents while selecting it from scanner?

Have you followed the exact same steps referred in the help doc here: Scanning letter-size document results in legal-size PDF | HP | Adobe Acrobat ?

Adobe Acrobat official update (2019.010.20091) is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates

DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Let us know if this makes any difference.

Regards,

Akanchha

Getting this exact same message. I tried to follow the steps, but in Acrobat DC I don't have the option for "custom scan"

File > Create > PDF from Scanner > Custom Scan does not exist, It ends at "PDF from scanner." I've never had this problem wiyth my Brother printer/scanner before.

Make sure you're using a TWAIN driver to access you scanner not a WIA driver. Acrobat supports customs scans only via TWAIN.
