Changing an existing fillable form to add signature

I have an existing fillable form. The form needs to have 2 signatures. I have the signature blocks, however it only allows the sign yourself option, it does not allow me to request a signature. I may have set this up wrong. Essentially we would like the person type in their name, sign it on their touchscreen or use their mouse.

Did you design the form yourself? The signature fields are text input fields, not signature fields. If you want to have others to sign your form, you can use the "Adobe Sign" option which is available in Acrobat DC (subscription) in the tools workspace to invite others to sign.

No actually the signature fields are setup correctly for Adobe Sign, but the form is not an Adobe Sign form.

The attached Form doesn't help because it has security on it.

However, one source of your problem could be the assigned roles. Are they set to Signer 1 and Signer 2?

On second look I can see that you did at one time convert this form to Fill & Sign, and setup the two signature fields. However, it was converted back to a regular Acrobat form at some point.

Note, you have to send Fill & Sign forms to Adobe Sign through the "Send for Signature" button in Prepare Form Mode.

I originally removed the security protections before I sent.  In the Signatures in Prepare Form mode I now and able to use the Send for Signature button.  Since the form is available on our website for general use, is there a way to have the signature completed before they send rather then sending it back to the client

Yes, make the "Sender" the first signature. To use a Fill & Sign form, the form has to be integrated into the Fill & Sign process. If you want the form to be avaiable to everyone in your organization, then you should make it a template on the document cloud.
