I have a user who tried to install Adobe Acrobat Pro. It failed after 90%. Now, when he tries to re-install, he gets an Error 87. I tried using the CC cleaner tool, but still got the Error 87. He even tried running the cleaner tool in Safe Mode but still can install Acrobat.
Does anyone have a solution for this? I've seen lots of "solutions" but none have worked.
Any help is appreciated.

Please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/3VgSSAP, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/3wXLt1v and see if that works.
