Code - Attaching an image to PDF via code

Hi guys, I need help to attach an Image to a PDF (like, make it appear on the attachments page, not on the PDF itself), via code. But I can't find anything on the API to do that. Can anyone help me? I'm using Node.js by the way. I'm also getting the PDF via the user local filesystem, and the file to attach is also via the user local FS.
