Colors not displaying correctly

Colors do not look accurate in Acrobat.  I have combined several jpgs into the PDF.

What is wrong?  Or is this just another continual problem with Acrobat (and Adobe products)?

Here is an example.  Acrobat adds red to all of the colors (it's more apparent when the shapes are larger, but you should be able to see this here).  Note that the colors display correctly in every other app - MS Photo, Illustrator, Photoshop, Chrome, etc.

This is for color proofing/approval, so kinda important.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

I am not able to make any difference in the colors from the Acrobat and Illustrator as shown in the image you have shared.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3Km9r9s and see if that works.

This has been a problem with Acrobat for years.  It's all PDFs.  It's on any computer/Acrobat.  As far as I know, this has been a known issue for many, many years (including the vector issue).

I am on Windows 11, latest Acrbobat.

Here's an example with a photograph.  This is the exact same image.  Top is Acrobat.

No, that doesn't.  I've tried everything I can think of and find regarding color settings/profiles (the above example is sRGB and Acrobat is set to sRGB Working Space).

Just like the ongoing error displaying line weight correctly at different viewing sizes (75% vs. 100%, etc.), this seems to be another bug that is not being addressed.  Unfortunately, Adobe created an unusable new interface instead of fixing bugs.

I can't use Acrobat professionally as it stands now (and no idea how anyone can that relies on accurate colors and line weights).

Same exact issue, all color management profiles set up correctly, displays fine in everything but Acrobat. Turns out it's a bug with their security settings that has been around for years. Plenty of ghosted posts about it. The bug prevents Acrobat from color managing files. It makes the software completely useless for proofing to clients. I had to go and add the file path for the location of the PDF in Preferences>Security (Enhanced) and toggle on and off the security features. Even then it will still randomly decide not to color manage depending on what phase the moon happens to be in. This isn't a solution I can expect my client to go through.

It wouldn't be an Adobe product without version spanning bugs.
