Combination problem

Hello, for two days a collaborator has been trying somehow to combine 2 PDF files, she gets this message "An error occurred while combining the files. Do you want to open the combined file or return to the list of files and start over ?" She has an Adobe Acrobat DC license, can you help me, Thanks.

Hi Angelo,

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Is this a behavior with a particular set of PDF files or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

Also, make sure that the PDF files are not secured or digitally signed. If so, please try to create the PDF portfolio as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/create-customize-pdf-portfolios.html  and see if that works.
