Combine Files in DC Pro not working for excel (xlsx) files only

Combine files works fine for word files, excel files fail with error

 

File filename.xlsx could not be converted to PDF. Please remove it from the list and try again.

 

When you press combine, excel does not launch, just get error message. 

 

Updated adobe, updated office, sfc /scannow, etc etc. Completely stuck. Windows 11.

@adamc12651066 Sounds like Acrobat doesn't want to play with Excel for some reason! I would try and Repair/Re-enable Acrobat's Office Integration (PDFMaker). In Adobe Acrobat, go to Help and click on Repair Installation. When done, restart your computer after the repair is complete. Or in Excl, Go to File > Options > Add-ins. At the bottom, next to Manage, select COM Add-ins and click Go and make sure the "Adobe Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" (or similar wording) is checked and enabled.
